dc.description.abstract | Tendo como pano de fundo os debates sobre o entendimento apropriado da Reforma, no contexto do seu aniversário dos 500 anos, faz-se a tentativa de elaborar a promessa contínua da Reforma com respeito ao entendimento da justiça e da liberdade. A visão da justiça como um dom criativo e o entendimento da liberdade como promessa pressupõem que o caráter da Reforma pode ser entendido como a reconfiguração das autoridades teológicas tradicionais. A compreensão da realidade como enraizada na justiça criativa de Deus, que unicamente é livre porque Deus é o seu próprio futuro, está aplicada na arte luterana de fazer distinções, que relacionam o ser e a ação criativos de Deus com o ser e a ação criados dos seres humanos. A promessa contínua da Reforma é a descoberta dessa promessa incondicional e da maneira como ela é testemunhada na Igreja. Como a criatura da palavra justificadora de Deus, a vida da igreja tem o caráter de uma promessa incorporada. | |
