Linguistics Institute of St Andrews Theses
The Linguistics Institute of St Andrews is based in the School of Modern Languages. Its aims are: to promote the academic study of natural language across the University; to present scholars from different disciplines in St Andrews with a platform on which to discuss and cooperate in the study of language; to encourage postgraduate research in language and linguistics; to act as a channel of communication between linguists and language teachers; to inform language teachers about various developments within the field of linguistics; and to assist in the amalgamation of information and experience of foreign language teaching into linguistics.
