On stream : creating energy from tidal currents

Abstract

The aim of this booklet which is written in English and in Welsh is to increase understanding of tidal stream technology and the significant opportunities it presents for helping us to tackle climate change and reduce the UK’s dependence on energy imports. It highlights some of the concerns people have expressed about the impacts of the technology on wildlife and highlights the barriers to growth.
