Comprehensive area assessment consultation
Abstract
The proposals for the new comprehensive area assessment are a very positive step forward for sustainable development compared to previous local performance assessment frameworks, but will need further strengthening if they are to help support the Government's aim of putting sustainable development at the heart of sustainable community strategies and their delivery mechanism, local area agreements.
