The purpose of this paper is twofold. It is first to provide, particularly for students and those not yet familiar with Torrance, a brief orientation to the nature, aim and character of his dogmatics lectures. Secondly, it is to complement the previous article (based on an address given at the launch of the Incarnation volume) by selecting and outlining certain of the main themes in the lectures, particularly those appropriate to Atonement and not already highlighted, in order to give a wider overview of some of their most fundamental and distinctive concepts.en_US
