The Library at St Andrews dates back to the early 17th Century and over the years we have collected over one million volumes to support teaching, learning and research. The Special Collections Department of the University of St Andrews Library is home to the Library's manuscripts and rare printed books, as well as its extensive photographic collections and the University muniments.
