Abstract: In 2006 the Environmental Audit Committee ran an inquiry into the Government's Climate Change programme. The Sustainable Development Commission's submission to the inquiry includes suggestions on how the Government could meet its 2010 target of a 20% reduction in CO2 emissions, and questions how the 2006 energy review entitled 'The energy challenge' will affect the implementation of the Climate Change Programme.
